The Port Authority of New York & New Jersey Clean Vessel Incentive (CVI) Program provides financial incentives to encourage operators, charters, and agents of ocean-going vessels calling at Port Authority marine terminals to make voluntary engine, fuel, and technology enhancements. The enhancements reduce emissions beyond the regulatory environmental standards set by the International Maritime Organization (IMO).
