Project overview

The ZECT II Demonstration aims to reduce air pollution by introducing 7 new drayage trucks: 3 with hydrogen fuel cell range extenders, 2 with onboard hydrogen fuel cell generators, 1 battery-electric hybrid with a CNG range extender, and 1 fuel cell range-extended Class 8 truck. These trucks demonstrate a range of 150-200 miles and a fuel consumption rate of 6-8 mi/kilogram of hydrogen.
